About Us

Chapel Street Arts Centre, formerly the home of Déda, is Derby's vibrant hub for music, dance, theatre, and workshops.

Managed by Derby LIVE on behalf of Derby City Council, the Centre hosts a diverse and exciting programme including concerts, dance classes, and theatre performances, securing the building's future as a key creative and community asset for the city.

The Council is driving this new chapter forward, ensuring the premises remain a dynamic home for creativity for years to come.

It will support organisations and a host of grassroots cultural and community providers to continue their activities in the building since Déda ceased operating.
