Guided by Officer O’Brien, you’ll witness the interrogation of Winston Smith and face the ultimate question: Will you enforce the Party’s rules, or dare to resist?

This innovative production blurs the line between theatre and reality, challenging you to question surveillance, freedom, and your own beliefs. Alongside the performance, explore a unique exhibition created by Derby’s students and local art groups—offering fresh perspectives on Orwell’s classic and its relevance today. Supported by the Arts Council of England, this project brings together live theatre and community creativity, making thought-provoking art accessible to all ages.
