By Foot
Derby is a compact city and Chapel Street Arts Centre is situated within the Cathedral Quarter, within easy walking distance from the main shopping areas, hotels, restaurants, bars and other amenities.
By Bus
Chapel Street Arts Centre and Derby Arena can be reached via all major bus routes into the city. Derby Bus Station is just 4 minutes walk away from the city centre and there are regular services to Pride Park. Contact Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 for more information on bus services within Derby.
An alternative to city centre parking is to use our Park and Ride service:
- Pride Park - off the A52 and A6, next to Derby County football stadium
- The Meteor Centre - off the A608 Mansfield Road.
By Train
Derby's Train Station is just over a mile and a half away from Chapel Street Arts Centre, a 6 minute taxi journey or a 30 minute walk.

From the M1 exit at J25, take the A52 towards Derby and follow signs to the City Centre.
Parking
An alternative to city centre parking is to use our Park and Ride service at Pride Park - off the A52 and A6, next to Derby County football stadium.

By Bike
Derby is easily accessible for the National Cycle Network. The riverside pathway, National Cycle Route 6, provides a traffic free way of getting you close to Derby Arena from the city centre as well as from the south of the city.
